In recent years the group was involved in two major research grants: “WroVasc- Integrated Cardiovascular Centre” (2008-2015) and “Bio-Implant for the purposes of defects treatment of bone cancer patients” (2010-2014) under Innovative Economy Operational Program. Moreover we had been leading wide range of grants [supported by National Science Centre] regarding:
- Determination of mechanical and structural properties of the intervertebral disc of the spine at macro-and microscopic level,
- Influence of the mineralization process of the bone tissue in order to determine the pathomechanism of the hip osteoarthritis,
- Mechanical and structural properties of the backbone intervertebral disc at the macro- and microscopic level,
- Influence of the bone fragments displacement on the distraction osteogenesis process,
- Experimental mechanical, biochemical and ultrastructural study of human fascial system in order to find a new diagnostic and therapeutic algorithms,
- Examination of the biophysical properties of skin.
